It Never Rains in Southern California
Day 2

No matter how many times I come to California, I never tire of the crisp ocean air or the picture perfect views. While I was just here for spring break about two months ago, I am beyond thrilled about being back for this trip as well! Originally, my travel companions and I were planning to spend this week in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but due to some weather concerns, we decided last minute to reroute back to the sunny place we have come to know and love.

During our last venture we stayed downtown in the heart of LA, but this time we are staying in the charming town of Newport Beach. Here we are greeted each morning by the greenest golf courses, the clearest views of the harbor, and a beautiful oceanfront.   

Since arriving, we have taken a trip down to Balboa Island for the day to do some sight seeing and exploring. We ended up at a little Italian sidewalk cafe called Ciao, then moseyed over to the delightful patio of Newport Landing. The food and drinks were refreshing and the restaurant had the most entrancing water front view. It was the perfect day for a little island expedition!
