The Hybrid

My usual shoe preference has always been a sky high stiletto. I love nothing more than hearing the click of my impossibly high heels on the tile in the morning -- the sound of power. However, I recently fell in love with a pair of platforms that I spotted while browsing Barneys New York's website and rushed home to create an outfit with these bad boys. Why the sudden change to these platform-stiletto hybrids? I seemed to have forgotten the blessing that is the platform heel. Not only can I fake twice as much height by standing on of the thick platform, but I get to do it while minimizing the aching in my feet. What more could a girl ask for?
