Summer Strolls Through the Vineyard
Nashville: Arrington Vineyard
Can you really call it a girls' trip without a day at a vineyard? We felt the same way! During our trip to Nashville, in an effort to have a great time while maintaining social distance, we decided there wasn't a better place to space out than the lush lawns of a vineyard.
A forty-five-minute Uber ride from Nashville brought us to this place of peace and serenity. Arrington Vineyard has a variety of spots to sit and sip throughout the property, and each setup offers different vibes and views. We decided to settle in at a lawn table under a tree on the main lawn. The grassy paradise stretched for as far as we could see, and we kept cool in the shade and summer breeze.
We started with a flight of mixed wine, before we picked which bottle to dive into. And of course, you can't have a day of cheers and toasting without an appropriately paired snack. Luckily for us, Arrington also had a selection of meats and cheeses available.
It was easy to lose track of time as we found ourselves chatting and giggling, with our minds at ease for the first time in a while as we took it all in. Eventually, we did come to the realization that it was time to head back to Nashville to freshen up and get ready for dinner. But not without a quick stroll through the actual vineyard.
It couldn't have been a more perfect summer day.
