The Hidden World within Cuba

A Tiled Cuban Wonderland

Everyone knows that going to Cuba is like taking a trip back in time, but on this day it felt like we had stepped into a whole other world. We were invited for a private tour
of local artist José Fúster's home and studio. Fúster, who is described as the "Picasso of the Caribbean," is a muralist and ceramist who has created a colorful world of wonder behind the gates of his casa.

Tile by tile, he created this magical space that makes you feel like you had been dropped right in the middle of a book Dr. Seuss might have written had he been born Cuban.

The view was even better from the second floor.

Every day spent on this captivating island was another day of falling even more deeply in love with all that Cuba has to offer.
