I've always been partial to the little black dress and not just because the women who coined the "LBD" was none other than my idol Coco Chanel. The style is oh-so-practical and perfect for a handful of reasons. 

You may think that the LBD was just for cocktail parties. But in fact, this little workhorse is so versatile that it can double duty as chic office wear. Just add a jacket, scarf or structured sweater on top and you're ready for your day. Lose the cover-up, add strappy heels, a luxe clutch, and you're ready for your evening.
